A new theory about Sony & the PS4 has hit the news recently. Apparently Sony will begin manufacturing the PS4 the end of this year and it will be read to order for 2012 launch. The PS4 will have similar to Microsofts Kinect, a full body motion controler. The rumor also states that Sony plans to ship 20 million units.

Last month at the E3, Nintendo displayed its next home console, the Wii U. It’s expected to ship in 2012, a solid year before launch. Given that Sony’s focus is on the portable Playstation Vita console (coming in late 2011 or early 2012) it’s really hard to believe they’re almost ready to go to manufacturing on a console that hasn’t been announced yet.
